EDP Renewables North America LLC (EDPR NA) has selected GE to service its entire fleet of 402 1.5MW GE wind turbines.
The three- year operations and maintenance (O&M) agreement has been customised to meet the needs of EDPR NA’s five GE wind farms that span three states in the Midwestern USA. The new service contracts comprise routine O&M services, production-based availability guarantees and monitoring and control solutions. In addition, contracts to increase power production and spare parts agreements were signed with EDPR NA.
