Next Geosolutions has secured a contract from TenneT to conduct unexploded ordnance (UXO) surveys in the North Sea. The scope of the project includes identifying and locating magnetic anomalies linked to UXO that may hinder the installation of new offshore infrastructure. The work will cover the Doordewind and Nederwiek offshore wind areas.
Operations in the Nederwiek wind area are set to commence in the first quarter of 2025 and continue throughout the year. Surveys in the Doordewind area are scheduled between the first and fourth quarters of 2026.
