Northwester 2, a 224MW offshore wind farm in the Belgian territorial waters, has reached an agreement in principle with the Belgian authorities on the applicable support scheme. This allows the project to accelerate its development activities and to prepare for financial close in 2018 and construction by 2020.
Northwester 2 is a project company holding a 224MW concession in de Belgian territorial waters. Current shareholders are Parkwind (46%), Colruyt (30%), Incontrol (14%) and TTR (10%). Parkwind will be in charge of the development, construction and operational activities. The company is headquartered in Leuven (Belgium).
