PGE and Ørsted are starting to look for a partner with whom they will sign a contract for the lease of installation vessels that will support work on the installation of the wind turbines for the 2.5GW Baltica offshore wind farm.
Potential suppliers that participate in the procedure, meet the formal requirements, and submit a declaration of willingness to participate, will be invited to submit binding offers. PGE and Ørsted each own 50% of the shares in the offshore wind projects Baltica 2 and Baltica 3, together comprise the Baltica Offshore Wind Farm. Baltica 3, with a capacity of approximately 1045 MW, is planned to be commissioned by 2026, and Baltica 2, with a capacity of approximately 1500 MW, is expected to be commissioned by 2027.
