REpower has signed five new contracts for the UK with a total capacity of 66MW.
They include the supply of ten MM92 turbines, each with a rated output of 2.05MW, for RidgeWind’s wind farm at Wandylaw in Northumbria, North West England; and eight MM92 turbines for the Yelvertoft wind farm in Northamptonshire, Central England, developed by AES Wind Generation. REpower has also signed three new Scottish contracts. The company will supply five MM82 turbines, rated output 2.05MW each, for FIM Services and Whirlwind Renewables’ Wathegar wind farm in Caithness, as well as six MM92 turbines for the Blantyre Muir wind farm in South Lanarkshire and four MM92 turbines for Barlockhart Moor wind farm near Glenluce in Dumfries & Galloway, both developed by International Power (GDF SUEZ Group).
