SPT Offshore and Fujian Yongfu Power Engineering have signed the contract for their mutual coorperation in the Fujian Changle Waihai Offshore Wind Farm Project. The Changle Waihai Offshore Wind Farm locates at the east water area of Changle, Fuzhou city.
The Offshore Wind Farm is 31 – 50km from shore. The average water depth is 37 to 45m. The capacity of Changle Area A is 300 MW, consisting of 40 wind turbines from which 15 are suction pile jacket foundations. The capacity of Changle Area C is 496MW, consisting of 62 wind turbines. All of them are scheduled to be suction pile jacket foundations. SPT Offshore is responsible for the design and installation of the suction pile jacket foundations.
