Suzlon wins first order in Uruguay

Suzlon has announced a new order in Uruguay for a 65MW project.

 

The project, located in the southern Department of Colonia in Uruguay, is developed by Rouar S.A., a joint venture between UTE (Uruguay’s state-owned utility company) and Brazilian utility company Eletrobras. The wind farm will consist of 31 units of the S95 –2.1MW wind turbine with a hub height of 90 meters. Suzlon will be responsible for full EPC delivery for the project, scheduled for completion in September 2014.
