Verbund Green Power has signed a multi-year framework agreement with Nordex Group covering the potential supply of up to 700 MW of onshore wind turbine capacity. The agreement supports Verbund Green Power’s future wind projects across six core markets: Austria, Germany, Spain, Italy, Romania and Albania.
Under the framework, up to 105 Nordex onshore wind turbines may be supplied, subject to project-specific approvals, commercial agreements and customary conditions. The cooperation is intended to support project delivery over the coming years, with the framework running through to 2030.
Based on current pipeline estimates, the capacity available under the agreement could account for around half of Verbund Green Power’s planned wind project pipeline.
