Vestas has received a firm and unconditional order for 107 MW in Australia for the Taralga Wind Farm in New South Wales, Australia.
Vestas will supply a combination of V90-2.0 MW, V100-1.8 MW and V90-3.0 MW turbines. The order consists of engineering, procurement and construction of the wind power plant plus a five-year full-scope service agreement (AOM 4000). The wind turbines will be manufactured and shipped through the second half of 2013 and the first quarter of 2014, and the wind power plant is expected to be fully operational by the end of 2014.
