Vestas has received a firm and unconditional order in the United States for 100 V100-2.0MW turbines corresponding to 200MW from First Wind for the South Plains project.
The order comprises supply and commissioning of the wind turbines as well as a 10-year Active Output Management (AOM 5000) service agreement. Delivery expected to take place in late 2015.
