Vestas has received an order for 66MW for another
four projects in Spain.
The contract includes 28 units of the V90-1.8MW wind
turbine and 8 units of the V80-2.0 MW wind turbine. The order comprises supply,
installation, a VestasOnline Business SCADA system, as well as a five-year
service contract. The order has been placed by Enel Unión Fenosa Renovables
(EUFER), owned 50 per cent by Enel and 50 per cent by Unión Fenosa. The four
projects i.e. Peña 1 and 2 and Picazo and Monteneme, will be installed in
Guadalajara in the region of Castilla-La Mancha. Delivery and commissioning of
the wind turbines are scheduled to start in 2009.
