Vestas has received a firm and unconditional order in the USA for wind turbine equipment corresponding to 60MW to secure PTC beyond 2013.
This is part of turbine supply agreements with a potential of up to 610MW. The order has been received from Renewable Energy Systems Americas Inc. The contract includes delivery of wind turbine equipment for V100-2.0 MW turbines together with an Active Output Management (AOM) 4000 service agreement. Delivery of the wind turbine equipment and commissioning of the projects are expected to occur in 2014 and 2015.
