Vestas has received a firm and unconditional order for an 88MW project in France from EDF EN. The order comprises supply, installation and commissioning of 24 x V90-3.0MW and 8 x V80-2.0MW turbines.
A service contract will be determined at a later date. Further details of the project were not disclosed at the customer’s request.
Vestas also has received a firm and unconditional order for 62 V100-2.0MW turbines under the RES Americas master supply agreement for the Border Winds Project in North Dakota, USA. The order comprises supply and commissioning of the wind turbines as well as a three-year Active Output Management (AOM 5000) service agreement. Delivery of the project is expected to take place in the third quarter of 2015 with commissioning expected in the fourth quarter of the same year.
Further Vestas has received two firm and unconditional orders comprising a total of 225 wind turbines under the EDF master supply agreement for the Roosevelt and Slate Creek projects. Vestas will deliver 150 x V100-2.0MW and 75 x V110-2.0MW turbines. Both orders comprise supply and commissioning of the wind turbines as well as a three-year Active Output Management (AOM 5000) service agreement. Delivery of the Roosevelt project is expected to take place in the second quarter of 2015 and the Slate Creek project is expected delivered in the third quarter of 2015. Both projects are expected commissioned in the fourth quarter of 2015.
