Vestas has secured an order to supply and install 46 V162-6.2 MW wind turbines from its EnVentus platform for CS Energy’s Lotus Creek Wind Farm in Central Queensland, Australia.
Vestas has also signed a long-term service agreement. Lotus Creek Wind Farm is the first project developed by Vestas Development in Australia to reach financial close and construction readiness. Delivery of the turbines is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2026, with commissioning planned for the fourth quarter of 2026.
