Vestas has secured an order for the 75MW Cloncreen project in Ireland from the Irish climate solutions company Bord na Móna. The contract includes supply, installation and commissioning of 21 V136-3.45 MW wind turbines in 3.6MW operating mode in combination with a 20-year service agreement.
This project is located in County Offaly in the Irish Midlands and it is derived from the latest RESS 1 auction round. Turbine delivery is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2022, while commissioning is planned for the fourth quarter of 2022.
