Building on their previous collaboration on the retrofitted lidar-assisted control (ReLACs) project, ZX Lidars and Sowento have initiated a new project to showcase the advantages of ZX Continuous Wave (CW) Lidars for Lidar-Assisted Control (LAC).
The project aims to investigate the economic benefits that LAC can deliver, how ZX CW solutions can address these benefits, and the reliability and sensitivity of the anticipated cost-benefit of ZX CW LAC. The project's defined scope will encompass various turbine segments, including onshore, offshore, and floating turbine systems, with varying rotor sizes. This will include both standalone turbines and the cumulative benefits for wind farms.
