ArcVera Renewables has announced that it is expanding its consulting services reach by establishing European offices. Dr. Joerg Winterfeldt has joined the ArcVera Renewables team as European Continent Manager and Senior Atmospheric Scientist.Based in the Kiel area of Germany, Dr. Winterfeldt has been working in renewable energy since 2000, starting with German-based developer Projekt GmbH and wind energy consultant Overspeed as a micrositing expert. He then researched wind and cyclones in the North Atlantic at the GKSS research centre. In 2009, he joined General Electric as the Technical Lead for Micrositing Optimisation and Wind Resource Assessment. He advanced his career at GE, with his most recent role being Senior Product Manager for Wind Farm Energy Guarantees. In 2022, Dr. Winterfeldt joined Nordex as a Senior Expert in Project Optimisation.
