BKW FMB Energy Ltd (BKW) and the juwi Group have entered into a strategic partnership and founded a joint venture, BKWind.

The aim of the partnership is to plan, build and operate several wind farms over the next few years. the partners intend to jointly plan and build wind farms at various locations in Germany by 2015, with a collective installed capacity of around 200MW. the new joint venture, will be responsible for operating the future facilities and isscheduled to become operational in the course of this summer, subject to antitrust scrutiny.
