TU Delft develops dynamic open-source model to improve wind farm performance

Unlike conventional steady-state models, OFF captures the time-varying behaviour of turbine wakes, allowing more realistic simulations of wind flow and control strategies.

Schaeffler and LORC commission large-scale rotor bearing test rig in Denmark

Final turbine installed at SSE wind farm in Puglia

SSE has completed installation of the final turbine at its 17.3 MW onshore wind project in Puglia, southern Italy, six months after construction began. The project covers the Castel Favorito and Masseria la Cattiva sites, where five Siemens Gamesa 132-3.4 MW turbines have been installed.
