Envision starts construction of offshore wind drivetrain facility in Sheyang ChinaEnvision has started construction of an offshore high power drivetrain manufacturing facility for wind turbines in Sheyang, China. The facility is planned to have an annual capacity of 300 fully integrated offshore drivetrains, with the capability to support turbines above 20 MW. Completion is expected by November 2026.

The project is intended to improve production efficiency and delivery of large scale offshore turbines through integration with Envision’s existing offshore wind equipment base in Sheyang. The site will also include a 30 MW drivetrain research and testing platform, designed to enable validation across a range of operating conditions, including extreme environments.
