Gurit has reaffirmed its full-year 2025 guidance despite challenging market conditions and the impact of planned business exits. Third-quarter results reflected a cautious market response to potential US tariffs, which had already been factored into the company’s expectations. The company remains confident in the strategic redirection initiated in 2024.

For the first nine months of 2025, Gurit reported unaudited net sales of CHF 239.9 million, a decrease of 20.3% at constant exchange rates and 23.9% in reported Swiss francs compared with the same period in 2024.

In the Wind Materials segment, net sales reached CHF 149.1 million, down 26.0% at constant exchange rates, largely due to the planned exit from the carbon fibre pultrusion business and a more selective approach to customers. However, sales in the third quarter were higher than anticipated, driven by demand for core materials and glass pultruded products. Gurit continues to strengthen ties with key Western wind customers and is finalising long-term supply agreements to support stable growth.

Manufacturing Solutions achieved net sales of CHF 24.5 million, a decline of 6.6% at constant exchange rates compared with the previous year. While tariff uncertainty continued to affect performance, several wind customers confirmed new investment decisions, improving third-quarter results.

Marine and Industrial recorded net sales of CHF 66.4 million, a decrease of 9.6% at constant exchange rates.

Gurit remains focused on advancing its multi-market strategy and expects full-year net sales to be around CHF 300 million, with an adjusted operating profit margin similar to that of 2024.
