Iberdrola has signed power purchase agreements (PPAs) totalling 1,251 MW in 2024, a 38% increase compared to 2023. In Iberia, agreements were reached with Alcampo (Auchan), Burger King, BP, and Grespanaria, among others, covering approximately 900 MW.
In the United Kingdom, Iberdrola signed a PPA with Amazon linked to the East Anglia THREE offshore wind farm, along with another PPA with Co-op supermarkets for a photovoltaic solar plant of around 170 MW. In Germany, three PPAs were signed with Telefónica, Salzgitter, and Schwenk Zement, amounting to more than 100 MW. In Italy, agreements were reached with supermarket chains Tosano and Bticino, industrial firms Prima Sole Components and Acciaierie Venete, and pharmaceutical company Bayer, totalling around 50 MW.
