Energa Wytwarzanie, a subsidiary of the Orlen Group, and Northland Power have established Baltic Offshore Service Solution to manage offshore wind farms in Poland.
The new company will offer maintenance services for the offshore wind energy sector. This includes technical, operational, commercial, and contractual aspects. The company will also operate the 24-hour Offshore Wind Farm Management Center planned by the Orlen Group. This new center will control, monitor, and coordinate offshore assets. Energa Wytwarzanie has maintained onshore renewable energy assets for 15 years. Its portfolio includes 6 wind farms with a total capacity of approximately 244 MW. Northland Power owns or has shares in generation sources with an installed capacity of 3.4 GW. The Orlen Group and Northland are jointly developing the Baltic Power offshore wind farm project in Poland which will have a capacity of up to 1.2 GW and will start producing clean energy in 2026.
