Scottish Renewables has announced the appointment of three new Directors to its Board. Selected from its 360+ member organisations, each will serve a three-year term, bringing a range of expertise from across the renewable energy sector.
Finley Becks-Phelps of Fred. Olsen Renewables has been re-elected, continuing to represent the wider interests of the renewable energy industry. With a background in regulatory, community, and technical aspects of onshore wind, he will focus on industry-wide challenges and opportunities.
Alwyn Poulter of Hitachi Energy joins the Board for the first time. Having worked across onshore wind, offshore wind, solar, and battery storage, he will contribute to discussions on strengthening Scotland’s renewable supply chain and addressing electricity network upgrade requirements.
Sarah McIntosh of Muirhall Energy also takes up a Board position for the first time. With 16 years of experience, she brings insight into the challenges faced by smaller developers, including planning, finance, grid constraints, and asset management.
