Notus energy has appointed Madeleine Roßberg-Schwarz to its management board as Chief Operating Officer. She will support the consolidation of business areas following a period of growth.
Based in Potsdam, Germany, Notus energy has expanded nationally and internationally in recent years, developing additional business activities alongside its role as an independent power producer and project initiator. Roßberg-Schwarz joins from Deutsche Bahn, where she most recently served as programme director. Her previous roles include Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Cyoss, as well as service as an officer in the German armed forces.
In response to current energy market conditions, the company plans to place greater emphasis on sectors with higher growth potential, while continuing its international activities. These focus areas include data centres and energy storage solutions.
