Onshore renewable energy developer OnPath Energy is accelerating its project development plans across the UK after securing a new £120 million business credit facility.
Headquartered in County Durham and with offices in Hamilton and London, OnPath Energy currently has five consented onshore wind and solar energy schemes across England and Scotland in development. It is expecting to make progress on the construction of its consented sites over the coming year.
OnPath Energy owns and operates onshore wind farms across Scotland and northern England, and has more than 3 GW of renewable energy generation and electricity storage projects in its pipeline. The company was acquired last year by asset manager, Brookfield.
OnPath worked with NatWest, Barclays, Norway’s largest bank DNB, and the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) to set up the new agreement.
