Ørsted will expand its Group Executive Team from 1 May 2025, appointing two new members to align leadership across the entire offshore wind value chain. The additions will bring direct executive representation for development, construction, and generation activities. Both appointments will report to Group President and Chief Executive, Rasmus Errboe.

Amanda Dasch has been appointed Chief Development Officer (CDO). She will lead Ørsted Commercial, overseeing commercial development across the company’s three regions—Europe, Americas, and Asia-Pacific—as well as Trading & Revenue, Group Strategy & Innovation, and Group Stakeholder Relations. Currently Chief Executive of Region Americas, Dasch brings 20 years of energy sector experience. She will relocate to Denmark and continue as interim head of Region Americas until a successor is named.

Godson Njoku will become Chief Generation Officer (CGO), taking overall responsibility for the performance of Ørsted’s European generation assets. Based in the UK, Njoku joins from Shell, where he spent two decades in senior leadership roles, most recently as Executive Vice President for Global Production Excellence in the upstream business.

As of 1 May 2025, the Group Executive Team will consist of:
- Rasmus Errboe, Group President and CEO
- Trond Westlie, Chief Financial Officer
- Amanda Dasch, Chief Development Officer
- Patrick Harnett, Chief Construction Officer
- Godson Njoku, Chief Generation Officer
- Henriette Fenger Ellekrog, Chief Human Resources Officer

With these changes, Ørsted will phase out the role of Deputy CEO.
