The Supervisory Board of REpower Systems AG has announced the appointment of Andreas Nauen as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Andreas Nauen, currently CEO of Siemens Wind Power A/S, will join REpower at the latest on October 1st 2010. Andreas Nauen takes over from Per Hornung Pedersen who remains an Executive Board member and moves to a new role – Chief Business Development and Business Strategy Officer. Andreas Nauen has degrees from the Universities of Duisburg and Hagen in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration.
