TenneT secures equity funding for German operations

TenneT Holding has agreed with three institutional investors to secure equity for TenneT Germany, its high-voltage transmission business. The investors are APG, on behalf of Dutch pension fund ABP, Singapore sovereign wealth fund GIC, and Norges Bank Investment Management. The transaction will help TenneT and its sole shareholder, the Dutch state, fund the expansion of TenneT Germany’s grid over the coming years.
ZX Lidars launches ZX 300e with IEC classification up to 200 metres

ZX Lidars has launched the ZX 300e, its latest ground-based wind Lidar system, following independent testing that confirmed compliance with the IEC 61400-50-2 standard. The system achieved full classification across a height range of 21 to 200 metres, with testing carried out at sites operated by DNV, GeoNet and Pavana.
Iberdrola focuses growth on UK and US networks

Nordex has secured its first order in Spain for the supply of N175/6.X turbines. Madrid-based independent power producer Abei Energy has ordered eight units for the 50 MW Avellanosa wind farm in the Castile and León region, northwest of Burgos.
