Goldwind secures 470MW wind turbine order in Brazil

Goldwind has finalised its first order in Brazil under the FINAME financing framework, covering more than 470 MW of installed onshore wind capacity. The order relates to a single project and marks the company’s first FINAME-qualified wind turbine generator deployment in the country.
Revolution Wind challenges lease suspension order through US court filing

Revolution Wind, a 50/50 joint venture between Global Infrastructure Partners’ Skyborn Renewables and Ørsted, has filed a supplemental complaint in the US District Court for the District of Columbia challenging a lease suspension order issued on 22 December 2025 by the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, part of the Department of the Interior. The filing will be followed by a motion seeking a preliminary injunction against the order.
Vestas secures 183 MW of onshore wind orders across southern Europe

Vestas has signed a set of onshore wind turbine orders totalling 183 MW with a single undisclosed customer in southern Europe, as part of its fourth quarter 2025 order intake. The projects are spread across Italy, Spain, Portugal and France.

Ørsted completes sale of 50 per cent stake in 2.9 GW Hornsea 3 offshore wind project

Ørsted has completed the divestment of a 50 per cent stake in the Hornsea 3 offshore wind farm to funds managed by Apollo, following an earlier announcement in November 2025. The transaction establishes joint ownership of the project and shared responsibility for future construction payments.

In Italy, Vestas received a 125 MW order from ERG for the Carlentini and Greci-Montaguto projects.
