Fugro to carry out geotechnical site investigation for Youde offshore wind farm in Taiwan

Fugro has secured a contract for the 700 MW Youde offshore wind farm, awarded by Shinfox Energy as part of Taiwan’s Round 3.2 offshore wind tender. The company will provide geotechnical services to support project development off Taiwan’s west coast.
European Commission approves French aid scheme for floating offshore wind

The European Commission has approved a state aid scheme to support the development of three floating offshore wind farms in France. The programme is valued at €11 billion and covers a total capacity of 1.5 GW.
No bids submitted for German offshore wind areas N-10.1 and N-10.2

The German Federal Network Agency (BNetzA) has announced that no bids were submitted in the August 2025 auction for the centrally pre-surveyed offshore wind areas N-10.1 and N-10.2. These areas have auction volumes of 2,000 MW and 500 MW respectively, with planned commissioning dates in the third quarter of 2031 and the fourth quarter of 2030.
Iberdrola receives Windanker monopiles from Navantia and Windar for Baltic Sea project

Iberdrola has received the latest monopiles for its Windanker offshore wind farm in the Baltic Sea. The components were manufactured by Navantia Seanergies and Windar Renovables at their joint facility in Fene, A Coruña, Spain.
Minnesota Power plans 200 MW Longspur Wind project in North Dakota

Minnesota Power plans to build the 200 MW Longspur Wind project in Morton and Mercer counties, North Dakota, near its existing Bison Wind Energy Centre. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2026, pending regulatory approval in both North Dakota and Minnesota.

Windward Offshore to supply CSOVs to support RWE offshore operations
