Siemens Energy continued its profitable growth in the third quarter of fiscal year 2026, reporting record order intake, revenue and profitability. Demand in the USA contributed strongly to order growth, while increased production capacity supported higher revenue.

The company received orders worth €17.9 billion, driven by record order intake at Gas Services and higher demand in Grid Technologies and Transformation of Industry. The order backlog increased to €162 billion at the end of the quarter, with a book-to-bill ratio of 1.57.

Revenue increased 18.5% year on year on a comparable basis to €11.4 billion, with growth across all segments. Profit before special items more than tripled to €1.6 billion, compared with €497 million in the third quarter of fiscal year 2025. Siemens Gamesa contributed significantly to the improvement, reporting a positive result for the first time since fiscal year 2022.

After special items, Siemens Energy reported a profit of €1.6 billion, compared with €956 million in the same period last year. Net income increased to €1.2 billion, while earnings per share rose to €1.28.

Free cash flow before tax increased to €2.3 billion, supported by higher operating profit and customer advance payments linked to strong order intake.

Siemens Energy confirmed its fiscal year 2026 outlook and expects its profit margin before special items to reach the upper end of its guidance range.
