Subsea Cable Assets (SCA) has expanded its services with the introduction of cable carousel rental. The company has secured a first rental contract with a European client for two new systems with capacities of 4,000 and 6,000 tonnes.
The rental service combines carousel equipment with loading equipment, cable handling services and operational support for temporary or project-specific cable storage requirements. SCA has delivered more than 50 carousel systems, including units with capacities of up to 12,000 tonnes, as well as related equipment packages. The company supports cable, flexible and umbilical projects in offshore wind, interconnectors, oil and gas and subsea applications.
