The Hailo Wind Systems Safety And Rescue Academy (SARA) has received GWO certification and therefore fulfils the requirements of the Global Wind Organisation (GWO) for Onshore Basic Training (BST).
The training programme includes the working at heights, first aid, fire awareness and manual handling modules. Applying the GWO training criteria is targeted at providing assembly, service and maintenance staff with the skills and knowledge to work safely on wind power systems. Hailo Wind Systems has its own training infrastructure with its own training tower and certified training staff with the aim of complying with the very highest safety standards in all seminars. The Safety And Rescue Academy in Haiger has been carrying out training seminars for the wind power sector within a realistic working environment for more than six years now. Measuring in at 17 metres and with its integrated climbing and safety equipment, the training tower in Haiger corresponds to a real wind power system.
