Fred. Olsen Windcarrier has announced the opening of their first German business unit in Hamburg.

Fred. Olsen Windcarrier GmbH, which opened officially on January 1st 2015, will be the centre of business development activity for the company’s interests in the German offshore wind market, focused on identifying and securing new business opportunities. The office will also support the interests of Denmark based related companies Universal Foundation and Global Wind Service who will utilise the office facilities in Hamburg, adding to their existing operations in Germany. Heading up the new German business operation is Iris Stempfle, general manager, joining the company from her previous position as project manager grid affairs at German electric utilities company EnBW.
