Windward Offshore has taken delivery of Windward Hamburg, the fourth purpose-built commissioning service operation vessel (CSOV) to join its fleet, following Windward Athens, Windward Paris and Windward Munich.
Based on the Vard 4 19 design, Windward Hamburg is 87.5 metres long and 19.5 metres wide, with accommodation for up to 120 people. Like Windward Munich, the vessel is equipped with a helideck. Its equipment includes a height-adjustable motion-compensated gangway with an integrated lift, an electric motion-compensated crane and a height-adjustable boat landing system. The vessel also has a battery-hybrid propulsion system prepared for future operation on green methanol.
