Global Underwater Hub and the Umbilical Manufacturers’ Federation will jointly host the fifth Umbilicals Conference on Tuesday, 11 November, at Global Underwater Hub’s premises in Westhill, Aberdeen. The one-day event will bring together stakeholders from the renewables and offshore wind sectors, alongside representatives from oil and gas, to discuss new technologies for the design, manufacture, installation, and operation of subsea umbilicals.
Umbilicals, which connect surface and subsea equipment, are essential for ultra-deepwater oil and gas projects, while the transfer of this technology to dynamic cables is becoming increasingly important for the large-scale delivery of floating offshore wind. Centred on the theme Umbilicals – the dynamic future ahead, the conference will explore emerging markets and developments in umbilical systems, offering delegates opportunities to share knowledge, network, and discuss sector challenges. Discounted registration is available for members of Global Underwater Hub and the Umbilical Manufacturers’ Federation. Bookings close on Friday, 7 November, at 12:00.
