The Global Wind Organisation (GWO) has elected a new Board of Directors following a vote by the General Assembly. The Board will oversee the association’s strategy, with several new members joining its leadership.
John Barrie, Global Head of Training at Vestas, has been re-elected as Chair for another two-year term, supported by Eloy Jáuregui of Acciona, who continues as Vice Chair until 2026. New representatives on the Board include Sebastian von Lueders from Ørsted, Elena Caja from Ocean Winds, Dennis Thorlund Elsberg from RES Group, and Dr. Marko Ladehoff from BayWa r.e.
