South Korea's Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy has awarded 1,886 MW of offshore wind capacity across four projects in the country's latest auction. The government granted 20-year fixed tariff power purchase agreements to four developers.
The winning projects are Equinor's 750 MW Firefly/Bandibuli floating wind project, Vena Energy's 500 MW Taean, Jeonnam's 532 MW Anma (consisting of the 224 MW Anma project and the 308 MW Anma 2 project) and Daehan Green Power’s 104 MW Yeonggwang Yawol.
