Cadeler has launched its newly constructed wind farm installation vessel, Wind Peak, at Cosco Shipyard in Qidong, China. This milestone signifies the completion of the vessel's hull.Moving forward, the next steps for Wind Peak involve the installation of jacking legs and cranes, along with various technical installations. Subsequently, commissioning and testing of all systems will commence. A sea trial is slated for mid-2024, during which Cadeler, in cooperation with the Classification Society, will test all ship systems. The official handover of Wind Peak to Cadeler is planned for Q3 of this year.
