GBM Works and partners in the SIMPLE III project are preparing for an offshore test of the Vibrojet technology in March 2025. This project, initiated in August 2023 by GBM Works, aims to demonstrate the viability of Vibrojet for large-scale offshore wind applications.
Key achievements to date include the completion of laboratory tests, the manufacturing of a test monopile and jetting lines, obtaining a permit from the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, and the start of mobilisation activities. The offshore test will be conducted at Hollandse Kust West VI, marking the first commercial application of Vibrojet.
Partners in the project include Atlantic Shores, CAPE, Deltares, DEME, Ecowende, EnBW, Eneco, Shell, TNO, Van Oord, Vattenfall, and Seaway7.
