Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology (Goldwind) has announced that multiple models of its permanent magnet direct-drive (PMDD) wind turbines have received ETL certification by Intertek.
The ETL Listed Mark demonstrates compliance to the requirements of product safety standards, as determined through independent testing and periodic follow-up inspections by Intertek. The ETL certification includes the 1.5MW extended series products for low wind speed areas and the 2.5MW series for several different operating environments. In addition, Goldwind’s proprietary full power converter and its permanent magnet synchronous generator also received ETL certification, meeting the North American safety standards. In prior evaluations, different models of Goldwind’s PMDD wind turbines have passed international certifications from different countries. Goldwind is continuing to seek additional international certifications for more types of Goldwind’s wind turbines to create additional market recognition and sales of its products and services in the international markets.
