Youwind, a web-based wind energy software as a service platform, has launched a battery energy storage system (BESS) module to support the design, analysis and optimisation of hybrid wind and storage projects within a single environment.
The module enables developers to identify suitable locations, design and customise storage layouts, and assess both technical and financial performance across multiple scenarios. The platform supports standalone storage applications as well as hybrid onshore and offshore wind projects on a global basis.
