ABO Energy has been awarded tariffs for five wind energy projects in the latest Federal Network Agency tender in Germany, with a combined capacity of 80MW.
The successful bids include three wind farms in North Rhine-Westphalia (eight turbines, 45MW), one project in Lower Saxony (one turbine, 7MW), and one wind farm in Baden-Württemberg (four turbines, 28MW). All five projects are scheduled for commissioning in 2027.
In the May 2025 round, the Federal Network Agency awarded 372 bids totalling 3.4GW. The average awarded tariff was 6.83 euro cents per kilowatt hour, a slight decrease from the previous average of 7.00 euro cents.
