Akrocean has secured multiple floating LiDAR System (FLS) contracts in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. Akrocean and its Korean partners, Vision Plus and SA Offshore, have deployed 2 FLS in Korean waters for a one-year wind and metocean assessment to secure the EBL (Electric Business Licence) of a domestic key developer.
Akrocean has also signed a framework agreement with Ørsted to accelerate FLS deployments in different parts of the world by simplifying tender procedures with pre-negotiated terms. The company has now won the first tender launched by Ørsted in the APAC region within this framework agreement. The APAC activity is supported by an Asian office based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
