Skyborn submits an application to build 3.9GW offshore wind farm in Swedish waters

Skyborn Renewables has submitted a permit application to the Swedish government to build the 3.9GW Eystrasalt offshore wind farm.

 

The offshore wind farm would be erected on the Eystrasalt Bank in the Bothnian Sea, some 60 kilometres off the coast of Hudiksvall. The wind farm will include up to 256 wind turbines. Construction could begin as early as the early 2030s. The wind farm will be gradually operationalized, with the entire project expected to be completed in the mid-2030s.
