SeaRenergy (Poland) has been awarded a Marine Coordination Services contract by Baltic Power for the construction phase of the Baltic Power offshore wind farm.
SeaRenergy’s Marine Coordination Service includes ship registration, personnel registration and check-in, inspection, and construction site monitoring based on an innovative Vessel Traffic Management and Maritime Surveillance System provided by Vissim. The team of Marine Coordinators will be based in Łeba at the site office, with primary responsibility for monitoring and coordinating ship movements and facilitating communication with vessels at the offshore construction site. The Baltic Power offshore wind farm, developed by the Orlen Group and Northland Power, is located 23 kilometres north of the Polish coastline, near Choczewo and Łeba, within the Polish Exclusive Economic Zone in the Baltic Sea.
