China Ming Yang Wind Power (Ming Yang) has signed an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract with China Wind Power International for the commencement of its 198MW phase III wind farm project in Heilongjiang Province, China.
Under the terms of the EPC contract, Ming Yang will deliver and install 132 1.5MW wind turbines as well as provide engineering and construction management for the wind farm. Phase III consists of four wind farms located in Du Mon County, Heilongjiang Province, China, adjacent to the company’s Phases I and II. The project is expected to be completed by the end of the second quarter of 2012.
