CT Offshore has signed a contract with DONG Energy to carry out the cable installation and burial of inter-array cables at Borkum Riffgrund 1 OWF.
The company’s cable installation vessel SIA will be supported by the two vessels MV NICO and MV SANDER 2, also owned and operated by CT Offshore, installing a total number of 43 cables at this 277MW wind farm project. The cable installation is planned to start mid-June and is expected to be finish by end-August this year. CT Offshore intends to be operating from the harbours of Nordenham, Borkum and Eemshaven.
