Deutsche Windtechnik has received two contracts from the British wind farm project developer ScottishPower for servicing 34 more wind turbines. Deutsche Windtechnik already supports 73 Siemens 2.3MW turbines from ScottishPower within a scope of full maintenance contracts since August of last year.
The new contracts are set for three years, with the option to extend them with 2 years. The first wind farm, Hagshaw Hill II, consists of 20 SWT-1.3-62 Siemens wind turbines and the second wind farm, Wether Hill, consists of 14 turbines SWT-1.3-62 Siemens wind turbines. The contracts also includes the scheduled 10 years maintenance programme.
