DTBird and DTBat have been awarded a contract to supply bird and bat protection systems for the Ghoubet Wind Farm, developed by Red Sea Power in the Arta region of Djibouti. The 60 MW project comprises seventeen Siemens Gamesa SG132 turbines with rotor heights up to 150 m, located approximately 1 km west of Lake Ghoubet.

DTBird F4 and DTBat Q2 systems will be installed across the site to support wildlife monitoring and reduce collision risks. The target species include Egyptian vultures (Neophron percnopterus) and other migrating birds, while all bat species in the area will be monitored.
