Following the information released to the market in August 2023, EDP Renováveis (EDPR) has announced the completion of a Sale and Purchase Agreement with Statkraft to sell a 100% equity stake in a portfolio of 260MW from two operating wind projects in Brazil for an Enterprise Value of BRL 1.57 billion (approximately €0.30 billion).
The projects are located in Rio Grande do Norte and have been fully operational since 2022. With the conclusion of this agreement, EDPR has secured around €1.6 billion of Asset Rotation proceeds in the context of the €7 billion Asset Rotation program for 2023-2026, as announced in EDPR’s Capital Markets Day in March 2023.
